1. Service Agreement

SafeTails Transport provides pet transportation services via ground and air. By booking with us, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate pet information (size, breed, medical conditions, etc.).
  • Comply with all necessary documentation and travel requirements.
  • Ensure your pet is ready for transport at the agreed pickup time.

2. Booking and Payment

  • Full payment or a deposit is required at the time of booking.
  • Any remaining balance must be cleared before transport.
  • Payments are non-refundable unless specified under our cancellation policy.

3. Cancellation and Refund Policy

  • Cancellations made 7 days before the scheduled transport are eligible for a partial refund (minus administrative fees).
  • Cancellations within less than 7 days are non-refundable.
  • In case of rescheduling due to unforeseen circumstances, we will work with you to find an alternative date.

4. Pet Safety and Care

  • We prioritize pet safety and comfort during travel.
  • Pets must be healthy, free from contagious diseases, and have all required vaccinations before transport.
  • SafeTails Transport is not responsible for pre-existing health conditions or medical emergencies that occur during transport.

5. Liability and Responsibility

  • While we take every precaution to ensure pet safety, SafeTails Transport is not liable for injuries, stress-related conditions, or unforeseen incidents during travel.
  • We are not responsible for any missed flights, delays, or issues caused by airlines, weather, or unforeseen travel disruptions.

6. Required Documents

  • Health certificates and vaccination records may be required for travel.
  • International shipments may require additional permits, customs clearance, and import/export documentation.

7. Pet Owner’s Responsibility

  • Ensure your pet is properly secured in an approved carrier for air travel.
  • Provide enough food, water, and medications for long-distance journeys.
  • Be available for pickup and drop-off as per the agreed schedule.

8. Travel Delays and Changes

  • SafeTails Transport is not responsible for delays caused by traffic, weather, airline cancellations, or third-party providers.
  • If unforeseen delays occur, we will communicate with you promptly.

9. Emergency Situations

  • In the case of a medical emergency, we will seek veterinary assistance and notify you immediately.
  • Any veterinary expenses incurred during transit are the responsibility of the pet owner.

10. Prohibited Animals

We do not transport aggressive, dangerous, or illegal pets, including but not limited to:

  • Exotic animals not permitted by law.
  • Pets with contagious diseases.
  • Aggressive pets that pose a safety risk to handlers.

11. Privacy Policy

We respect your privacy. All personal and pet-related information shared with SafeTails Transport will be used solely for transportation purposes and will not be shared with third parties without consent.

12. Changes to Terms and Conditions

SafeTails Transport reserves the right to update these terms and conditions at any time. Clients will be notified of any significant changes.
